Welcome back!
Life is rolling along here in Eagle Land. We are soooo ready for Christmas Break! Our class has been loving anything to do with the Gingerbread Man. This week, we are finishing up our retelling unit using the traditional versions of the story. Yesterday, we read our emergent reader and made a retelling bracelet (ala Fran Kramer and Marsha McGuire) for the story. Here's the bracelets in action!
Here are the beads I used. It compliments the emergent reader.
brown--Gingerbread Man
purple--little old woman
blue--little old man
black--black and white cow
white--sheep
pink--pig
red--fox
gold sparkly--"crunch"
