I came across your blog through Jessica's linky party :) I'm your newest follower!
ReplyDeleteIt seems a lot of are reading Daily 5/CAFE over the Summer. I need to check out some of those math books. We have reading and math centers incorporated into our schedule at my school and I struggle with my guided math lessons :/ I've never heard of the book you mentioned, but definitely will have to look it up.
Dirty Hands and Lesson Plans
Looooove that this linky is being passed around! Love that you have a few I haven't heard of yet! Now to find these good reads ;) maybe we should start a linky about the daily 5 once we start reading.

Katie,
ReplyDeleteThe Guided Math book came highly recommended by our learning coaches. I am going to try to tackle Math Workshop next year because our kiddos come in on such varying levels. The Kathy Richardson books, from what I am reading, go hand in hand with the Common Core and look like they have some really great ideas.
Jessica,
I am all up for a linky on that! We can all swim and not sink together! Tammy at Live, Love, Laugh Everyday in Kindergarten is putting together a book study and posted a great freebie for working with words. Here's the link: http://livelovelaughkindergarten.blogspot.com/2012/05/boggle-and-daily-5.html. Let me know when you want to do the linky!! Here's my email: edoennig@joplin.k12.mo.us
